Hi! I’m Jaime, a long-time theatre kid working towards a BFA in Acting and a Minor in Dance. I’m also an avid planner, so once I went through the college audition process and realized just how much there is to do and how little resources exist to organize it all, I knew that I just had to create something to help others get through this process.

Looking back, I wish I could’ve had something to prepare me for what was in store. As much as I worked with coaches, practiced my material, and talked with other students, there was still one thing missing that left me feeling stressed and unprepared— I didn’t have an organized way of keeping track of all the information I was gathering. (And trust me when I say you will need some form of organization... my parents and I learned that lesson the hard way.) Trying to create spreadsheets and keep calanders all over the place gets exhausting and frustrating. There's already so much to do during the college audition process, you don't need to add more to your plate.

After auditioning for 20 schools, I can confidently say that audition season can be stressful and leave you feeling anxious or drained— but it doesn’t have to be that way! I wanted to create TCAO, because I have a strong passion for helping others. I hope this planner will provide you with what I could only wish I had during my process. No one warns you how much planning goes into this process, so let TCAO save you some time and alleviate some stress by doing the organization for you.

Remember that, although this process can feel competative at times, at the end of the day we’re all in this together and everyone's journey will be different. I can’t wait to see what amazing things you will accomplish with TCAO and beyond. Whether you’re auditioning for 5 schools or 30 and whether you’re a junior, transfer, or gap year kid— I’m here for you!
